So Convient .... The most used Flashlight I have ever used.     On: 2005-09-03

1. This Headlamp is small enough to fit in your pocket.
2. It provides all the light you need for most close in activities but is not bright enough to light up a whole room or shine on objects in the distance. It is just the right amount of light.
3. It takes 3 AAA batteries. And has very long battery life.
4. Not only can it fit comfortable on ones head, It also can fit on your wrist, Drink, bicycle handlebars...or almost anywhere that theree is something to attach it to. Its zip cord design makes it extremely flexible for attaching to things.
5. I keep one in my pocket at all times.
6. I have bought scores of flashlights in my life. But this is the most used flashlight I have ever owned.
Tool kit necessity     On: 2005-04-30

Not having this little light in your toolbag is worth a head-slap. I always miss it when its not there.

I dont know about how well it works for climbing mountains and such but this light is bright, lightweight, sits on your head in a way that makes it easy to adjust where the light is pointed and allows you to forget its there, and can easily slide into your pocket. Im glad I no longer have to rely on gripping a mini-mag light in my teeth to get my job done.
defect?     On: 2004-02-19

When it works, it works pretty good.
You can select various modes by the # times pressed: (1) high, (2) medium, (3) low, & (4) strobe.
Unfortunately, the push on/off doesnt seem to always register. Not sure if its a design defect, or just a defective unit. Once in a while it stays on, and you have to remove batteries to turn off. And sometimes it wont turn on, and you have to wait a while, almost as if it has to reset itself. ???
Because of its occasional tempermental nature, I deduct a couple stars (assuming its not a design defect). If not for that, it would receive a perfect score :)
Wonder if anyone else has this problem ?
NOTE: if it is a design defect, Id deduct more.
