I set my tent up not realizing there was a tree stump where I planned to sleep - but this air mat added the padding needed. Ive even used it to float on behind my boat! Tough and comfortable! Only issue is loosing the small adapter on the air pump. Recommend glueing it on before you loose it. Coleman makes good stuff: On: 2008-08-18I have been sleeping on an air bed for several years but have been particularly appreciative of the benefits for the past 15 months after a freak accident broke my hip and my leg. When the mattress I had was slowly losing air, I got online and found my Coleman Quickbed (I had one before), ordered it through Amazon and was back to sleeping comfortably within a week, without having to drive around town in temperatures over 100 degrees. As for the mattress itself, the dual valve system makes it easy even for a 95 pound woman to inflate without needing help from anyone; Im an independent sort and that is immensely important to me. Inflates quickly and easily, even had it up for a week without having to reinflate, definitely would recommend, especially since it comes with its own pump as many dont. Coleman Quickbed with Pump  On: 2007-08-23While the overall quality of the Coleman Double ComfortSmart Quickbed (w/ Pump)was acceptasble, the description did not indicate what kind of pump (battery operated or DC) was included. We were disappointed to find that the pump, which apparently impacts the price of the product dramatically, was a cheap, plastic container, for which four "D" batteries needed to be purchased. The description failed to explain this. A similar product, w/o the "pump" was located at a grocery store for less than 1/3 the price. Overall, VERY over priced with misleading (incomplete) copy. Product would have been returned immediately if not needed. I was expecting something better  On: 2007-08-11The pumps need batteries and the mattress lose air easily over night, is not what i was expected, I read the comments before buying but i do not agree ... Pump does not fill all the way On: 2007-01-19the only issue i had was that the pump that the bed came with does not fill the bed all the way. it doesnt have that much power. I had to use a bicycle pump with a different nozle to complete the job. thats it. It was easy to inflate and deflate. It is also very easy to pack back in its own carrying case. It is not covered in rubber so you dont feel like you are stuck on your sheet when you try to turn over. Great item for the price. Very Cold and Uncomfortable On: 2006-05-08It states for indoor/outdoor use, but it was very cold to sleep on. We even used insulation. We would have been warmer on the ground. And we got the queen so we both could sleep, but if one person moves or rolls over, it almost bounces the other one off. We tried different levels of inflation and insulating the mattress, but it was just not a good fit for outdoor camping. fast inflater On: 2006-03-10This is a great item to buy. Coleman Bed is easy to use and sleeps great On: 2005-07-19The pump is easy to load the batteries into and pumps the bed up in no time at all. The bed material is easy to fold and pack into its carrying sack. I love it. |
