It seems to be able to hold a lot of weight, feels well constructed, and looks cool. The waist buckle really helps a lot in balancing the weight. The only thing I dont like is the plastic buckles for the waist harness. I wish theyd been metal. Lots of room. I can fit my tent and sleeping bag in here with lots of room to spare in the main compartment. The side pockets are great for compass, toothbrush, keys, etc. And there are two other pockets on the side for water bottles. Im really pleased with the pack. Took it to Europe for 3 months  On: 2008-05-20Bought this for my EuroTrip. Great price for an excellent backpack. Im 61" and it fit great. Plenty of pockets and straps. It survived my 3 month trip camping through Europe. Was FULLY loaded the entire time weighed in at 40+ lbs. Broke one strap towards the end due to excessive wear and tear but was able to quickly repair it on the fly. I bought one from my brother as well, great bargain.
