 Seam Sure Seam Sealer By: McNett Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 5 More Information Poor Design for application and didn't seal the seams  On: 2008-07-28As other reviews stated, it is much easier to pour the sealant onto a paper plate and apply with a small paint brush than to try to use the brush applicator, which just drips all over the inside of your tent. Also, the first time it rained after applying, there were puddles in each of the corners of the tent. Fast shipping! Great product - easy to use  On: 2008-06-13Purchased this product to use on the non-taped seams of my new tent. It was very easy to use - it took just two hours to do the seams on my huge tent. The brush applicator is helpful, but it drips everywhere and can be a little messy. I found it easiest to squeeze a small amount of the product onto a paper plate, push the top down to close it, and then to use the brush like paint brush to apply the product from the paper plate. Love that this product is water clean up, but dont get it on your clothes because it doesnt come out. Its worth the time to use this seam sealer - it rained for several hours overnight during our last camping trip, and we didnt have a drop of water inside our newly seam sealed tent. Hard to apply, seems to seam  On: 2008-05-25The applicator isnt as easy as it could be, the brush is too stiff/sparse. You have to pull out the knob to get the liquid to flow but the act of applying it to the seams is counterintuitive as you press the brush against the seams it closes the knob back down. You have to repeatedly pull the knob back out to apply the liquid. I have used my tent twice since I have seamed it but have not encountered rain either time, so I will have to edit this review at a later date to provide more information on that. Works better than expected On: 2007-11-25This product lived up to its claims. I was able to seal a pop up campers canvas completely with one bottle. Delivery was also better than expected. |
