Great hat for a trip in the rain forest  On: 2007-10-31I chose this hat because of a trip I was taking to Kauai. I was taking a tour ziplining through the rain forest and was not going to be able to worry about a hat that would not dtay on. Of couse when I was zipping I was wearing a helmet, but when we walking through thee rain forest I was wearing this hat that has a back flap to protect my neck from the sun and mosquitos. It also comes with a safety cord so if it were to fly off I could have it safely attached so I would not have to go after it. It is also adjustable so I could share it with my children if I felt they were getting too much sun. They do eventually wear out from sweat and use. But they last a long time and are perfect for hiking. The color selection seems to be more limited in recent years.
