I spent a full day in the rain in West Virginia and I pretty much stayed bone dry. This suit also contains decent sized pockets. The only negatives with this set is that the gear isnt the lightest, and its unlined so it doesnt provide much warmth. I wore a fleece underneath the jacket to stay warm.
