 Katadyn Gravidyn Replacement Element By: Katadyn Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Gravidyn Filters  On: 2007-12-27I live in a remote location where my only source of water is rain either captured from my roof or in my pond. I chose the Gravidyn filters for their ability to produce biologically safe and really good tasting drinking water. I cant emphasize the "really good tasting" part enough. The activated charcoal does a superb job. I change the filters twice a year and the cost is comparable to what I was spending on bulk bottled water in town. The big advantage for me is that I can make this water at home instead of making a weekly 50 mile round-trip. Even filters pesticides (at least thats what an item description said) Be sure to check it when it arrives. One of ours was cracked when it arrived. Do not use if cracked. It was easily returned and we got a new one. |
