I was very disappointed in this product. The flashlight has just one small penlight-size bulb, which throws a tiny and almost useless amount of light. The overall construction was not very sturdy, as if the design goal had been primarily low manufacturing cost rather than high quality. I returned the product after looking it over and trying it out. I would say its worth the price. Keep in mind it is by no means a mag lite, but its bright enough to see where youre going in the dark. And 1 minute of cranking is a lot easier in my opinion than 2 minutes of "vigorous shaking". Pros- never needs batteries, its easy to use, and it has 4 power options; the dynamo crank, the solar array, regular AA batteries, or you can plug it into a standard 12v AC adapter. Cons- not super bright, but it wasnt advertised to be super bright, so I didnt really count off for that. Not waterproof, but again, it wasnt advertised to be waterproof, but that might be more important to some people when choosing. The only real problem I had with it was the flashlight bulb wasnt perfectly aligned when I got it. It pointed about 5 degrees to the left. Not too bad, I just bent the socket back to the right until it was centered again.
