Expected a cheap product but it is a quality one. I did have one issue due to manufacturing defect and I called the company and they replaced it free of charge. Great support. Word to the wise! On: 2008-08-05A word to the wise, be careful when you stuff this sack! The compression sack is actually comprised of two sections sewn together close to the top (near the pull string). The easiest way to load it up is to fold the top down to the point it where it is sewn together. If you dont do this you will find yourself pulling on the fabric to stuff more gear in and without folding it you risk tearing it at this seam. If you follow this simple suggestion you will get much more life from this compression sack. I learned this the hard way with a larger Slumberjack sack and it tore while trying to get a sleeping bag in. With that knowledge I executed precaution with these new sacks and have been able to get quite a bit of gear in each of the two I purchased. I recommend this product, with precautions. Great so far  On: 2008-06-04I used this to compress my sleeping bag for Shasta. It does a great job and it help free up a bit more space for other things I need. Overall, does everything it was made to do for a great price. |
