More Information

This is NOT a 10 degree bag.     On: 2008-06-02

This bag is light, but BEWARE!!! If you plan on using this bag below 50 degrees, plan on wearing a jacket and all of your clothing! This bag WILL NOT keep you warm down to ten degrees. As the temp got below 50, I was putting on extra clothes... It will also sop up all of the morning dew.
Not a TEN Degree bag     On: 2008-06-02

This bag will not keep you warm down to ten degrees (Id say around 40). It is lightweight, but as the temp. drops, you will have to wear some layers or add a liner. If you can not afford a more expesive lightweight bag, this may be for you. It is roomy, the zippers work good and the hood is easy to close/open. It stuffs down very small. I would give it more stars, but it should not be called a ten degree bag.
Great for Summer Backpacking-Certian Death in 10 Degree weather     On: 2007-02-23

Pros: Very lite weight, comfortable
Cons: Is only warm to about 40 degrees

I own 2 sleeping bags: one for winter, and the other for the rest of the year. I purchased this bag because of its liteweightedness and its remarkably low comfort raiting. Upon trying this bag for the first time with the tempature below 40 degrees I was unplesantly suprised to discover that the comfort raiting was drastically to low. The best remedy to this problem is to wear more clothing in the sac, or pack along an extra poly blanket.
All in all this is a great summer backpacking bag (in the lower 48) but shouldnt be used in the latter half of fall or the begining of spring.
