Planned on using for camping. I have also used it for emergency stiuations. It is not very stable standing up. Since it is not very stable it is easy to drop or falls off tables easly. Because of this it has fallen and droped a few times and now the solar cells do not charge this radio very well. The dynamo charge does not work as well as expected either. Also because it has fallen of the table a few times the lamp cover does not stay on anymore because it easly broke even though it was not the part that hit the ground or floor.
It concept is good and the radio still works, but I would not buy this one again. Try to find one that is more durable, because an item like this will be used in more then one situation and it needs to be able to handle more punishment then this and not fall apart.
