I have worn several pairs for over 10 years. I have worn these every weekend that I did not wear short pants, on many hiking, camping trips and hotel trips. Nice in town, really great in the back country. Cool when its hot out. When its cold, there is plenty of room for a light pair of long underwear (I like Capeline from Patagonia). Lightweight, quick dry, well cut. The cargo pocket stays flat. Built-in belt. I like the gusseted crotch for freedom of movement. I always cut out the interior mesh and wear UnderArmor stretch boxers (which are also quick dry and better for chafing). Also, my wife hems them, so I lose the ability to button them shut at the bottom. But I dont miss it. After a few years, the tops of the thighs get thin and tear. When it tears a little, its over, because it is not rip stop material. I am always sorry to see a pair go, but I always feel that I got my moneys worth. I do not hesitate to order another pair.
