 Coleman Dorm Translucent Twin Quickbed with 4D Pump By: Coleman Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 13 More Information Kept Air for 4 Days  On: 2008-05-27Bought this for a family visit and we needed one more bed. The pump, which required batteries, pumped air in very quickly. The bed kept the air. After we used it, we rolled it back up, took the batteries out of the pump, and put it all back in the box for the next time. Quick bed  On: 2008-04-04Quick bed keeps air pretty good. However; expected more of a bed; not an over rated air mattress. Excellent product, BUT you're going to buy batteries. On: 2008-02-18This airbed is the best! Its very comfortable, looks great, and is easy to set up. The only negative is that if you inflate and deflate often, you will go through D batteries quick. The D batteries are not cheap either! I inflate and deflate this bed approximately 20 times per month, and I need to purchase 4 D batteries about every 5 to 6 weeks. Coleman Dorm Twin Quickbed On: 2008-02-08The 4D pump simply does not pump the bed up firm enough. I purchased the Coleman plug-in pump seperately (sorry if I dont have the name of that product right but it is easy to find.) I would give the mattress 5 stars if I was reviewing the external pump with the bed. Now the bed is nice and firm. The battery operated pump just does not do the job. Please with product purchased On: 2008-01-07Inflatable mattress was delivered early and in time to be used as a spare mattress for a guest. Good value overall  On: 2007-12-02I had this product shipped to my brothers house so that I could sleep on it while visiting him. It was all set up when I arrived, according to my brother the pump required 4 batteries (D) which he happened to have on hand. Good thing! I slept okay on it, though Ive slept on better (more comfortable) air mattresses before. The one major negative thing (that I have experienced with other air mattresses) is that I get *cold* at night. Im warm from the top because of the covers, but cold from below, I think because youre sleeping on air. Overall a good value. Decent Bed On: 2007-09-04This air-bed is absolutely my first experience with air-beds and I required one since my furniture in my new apartment wouldnt arrive till 2 weeks after move-in. The Pump is great and I love the closing mechanism which prevents air loss when your finished filling air and want to close the air gap. The bed hasnt leaked and is quite adjustable but I must say, dont select this product if you want an everyday mattress. This is more of a one-off for when guests come or for camping or like me for short stints of mattress unavailability. Can't find the leak  On: 2007-08-12I purchased this item on July 2. Well around July 10 I woke up to a flattened bed. It seemed to have leaked all its air out. I filled it back up with the pump and within an hour it was back down. I can not find the leak anywhere. Any suggestions? anyone? It was comfortable though when it was full for those few days. The pump was a little loud but I expected that. It was not that expensive but I did think it would last more that a few days. I do not have the box anymore or I would have sent it back. Thank you. Very durable Air Mattress, On: 2007-07-31Very durable Air Mattress. The pump included was sort of a mickey-mouse device but it will work if you are in the woods with out a ready air supply. Inexpensive, dependable and includes pump On: 2007-04-14I bought this bed as a literal "quickbed" for guests. It inflates quickly, doesnt take up much room and is actually quite comfortable. It does not come with an AC adapter, but I havent found this to be a necessity. I also thought it inflated quickly, Im wondering if the one reviewer who had a problem had a defective pump. For the money, I think this is a great bet and you can even reverse the direction of the pump to deflate the bed quickly! Nice, amazon changed the description after I ordered it On: 2007-04-06When I ordered this item, it was "with 4D pump and AC adapter." Now it just says w/ 4D pump. Of course, the pump is not AC adaptable, much to my disappointment (it was a major factor of why I ordered this). I just hope this is a good mattress overall, even with an inconvenient battery pump. Comfortable and cheap. On: 2007-04-02Included pump is very weak. Better to inflate the bed using your own mouth. Very reliable airbed On: 2006-02-20Bought this a few months ago and have used it everytime I needed. The included air pump is very convenient and the bed itself is very comfortable. It has served me very well as an extra bed every time I needed it. And the way that its transparent and you can see the inside looks cool too! |
