On: 2006-11-19This is definitely a 5 star item, but I rated it 4 stars because I think they charge too much. But it is worth it anyway. They are thin, comforatable, wick moisture away from your head like magic, dry remarkably fast, and with a little bit of woolite or somesuch easy to clean in a campground or motel sink. I carry 2 and rotate them on long trips. I use them year round, but they are especially fantastic in hot weather. Say goodbye to head-itch, and your helmet liner will stay nice much, much longer. The only down side I can think of is that, though they are very thin, if your helmet is extremely snug it might be uncomfortable. I doubt many would have that problem though. I have tried other configurations, the beanie, the bandana, and IMO the stubby is the best and most convenient. |
