On: 2008-06-20I bought several of these years ago when they were made by another company. They were black, battery operated, and so useful for my family during Hurricane Charley when they were without power for weeks. Kaito made a terrible adaptation. The battery is rechargeable so it means, at most you can only use it for 20 hours -- and would need a power source to recharge it. The electrical cord is wimpy and NOT EVEN UL approved with a plug of which i have never seen the likes. I am sending this back -- I wouldnt dare use it with the potential risk from the cord and the lithium battery which has plenty of warnings on the box. I am so disappointed. Wake up Kaito. |
