On: 2007-08-24This sleeping bag has everything I need. With the built-in memory foam, an easy carry-on bag, and a small zipper pouch on the sleeping bag to keep my personal things, its worth every penny. Too bad they discontinued this item. Luckily, I bought 2 of these. The only drawback would probably be its size and weight. This sleeping bag is at least 1/3 size larger than your average sleeper. However, if you were to get a separate memory foam or any foam for a regular sleeping bag, well then the size of this sleeping is justified. BIG Bag, BIG Comfort On: 2007-08-13This is a quality product! VERY comfortable and versatile. Im 62" at 215 pounds and this bag swallows me. Its wide enough to sprawl and still be warm. The inside material feels much like a cotton sheet. There is a "sleeve" built into the bottom that easily opens (velcro tabs) to accommodate the memory foam. You can REMOVE the foam and slide in a large Thermarest or use both. Having said that, this is a fairly bulky, heavy bag even though it comes with a nice carry bag. NOT for backpacking or carrying very far but, worth it when you settle in for the night. I bought a second one after trying the first bag last year. Good Bag, Not too Expensive  On: 2007-03-09This bag really takes the edge off a hard floor/ground. Its pretty warm, and not drafty. Heavy BUT Really Comfortable On: 2007-03-08this sleeping bag is really comfortable, gives a relaxes sleep. It is a bit more heavy than normal sleeping bags, so it depends what is your priority ... If you cannot carry a little heavy bag for long time then do not go for it. If you can and are looking for greater comfort level, then this is an awesome item. I love it because I do not travel/hike a lot and the thick foam layer gives me a relaxed sleep whole night. The foam seems to be of good quality and it do not get pressed after sleeping at one position. sleeping bag On: 2007-01-19I just returned from a 1 week cattle drive and the sleeping bag worked well, the memory foam was very comptable. |
