![]() Eureka Sunrise 8 Adventure 8-Foot by 8-Foot Four-Person Tent By: Eureka Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 7 More Information Not the easiest tent to put up Its not complicated to put up - but the reinforcd joints dont easily slide through the tent loops when youre taking it up and putting it down. Its a real pain if youre doing it on your own. If you have help, its not too bad. Otherwise, the tent does the job. Its not a bad tent - just not the quickest assembly and break-down Ive seen. I have two other tents that are much easier. Our first tent My husband and I purchased this tent for our car camping excursions. We recently took it out for the first trip with friends and it worked great. I watched my friends Coleman tent buckle under the strong winds over and over, but the Eureka was solid in the highest winds. I do advise getting some more heavy duty stakes than the ones included and staking out the fly is a good idea if you foresee any storms. This is perfect for two people and was easy to set up. I also advise a practice run before you head out as this lessens the inevitable debates that occur between couples during tent construction. I look forward to many more uses. One note, this is perfect for a couple, but I think it would be too small for four people. You could add a dog or a small child but thats about all. Looking forward to using soon. I have not used this tent yet. After a couple weeks of reading reviews and comparing products, I decided this one was just right for me and it should be a quality product. Although I didnt realize it until later, my daughter had purchased a similar Eureka tent about four years ago and has used it many times. She said that I did good when selecting because she thinks Eureka is the best. Great Tent This tent has windows that actually zip up! I hate those tents that just have a screen with the fly over it. Be cautious when purchasing a tent if this matters to you. I bought one of those and returned it because there is no way you could stay warm if it got cold. This is a great one-person tent and probably fine for two. Dont even think about 4 people if you have airbeds! I have a double-high twin airbed and there was enough room to put the camping box by my bed to use as a table and a place for my clothes in the corner. I loved it. It was very cozy. I would highly recommend this. We did not have bad weather but Eureka! tents usually hold up well to the elements. Perfect size for two childrens and 2 adults. Is a great product, good brand, good quality, very easy to build up. The size is very good for two kids and 2 adults, I belive that 4 adults fits very very thight. Have a lot of bags to keep small things but need extra space for the backpacks, and shoes. Great tent! We had great weather all three days, so cant rate its performance under the rain, but the tent was pretty big (it fit 3 adults, and one of us had a twin air mattress) and sturdy. All the pockets and storage shelves for our stuff was great and convenient (much bigger than I expected them to be from the pictures!) Having 4 windows made it really comfortable. Two of us assembled the tent in about 10-15 minutes. Great tent! one terrific tent! this tent is really built! first time out we were in a 12-hour downpour--extremely heavy rain. absolutely no leaks, drippage, or any problem at all. everything was extremely well-sealed right out of the box. the ventilation system is also outstanding--4 very large windows, large ceiling vents and the lower vent in the door panel real helps the air flow! generally very easy to set up with 2 people. this is an outstanding tent--very well constructed, easy up and down, tight, waterproof, and practical. we use it for 2 people. 3 or 4 would be really pushing it, in term of interior space, but its very well suited for 2 adults plus gear. enjoy! |
