 Silva Wrist Sighting 424 Compass By: Silva Average Rating: 2.0 Total Reviews: 2 More Information I've seen worse  On: 2006-12-31I ordered this compass and Im more or less happy with it. the construction is moderate, the strap is cheap and functionality is fair. I have noticed the dial getting stuck & not pointing north properly, but thats usually only when held at an angle. a quick tap usually ends the issue. I bought this compass for use in new cities but campers may want to invest in something more reliable. as for the cost, I do think its a bit over-priced [$15.00 + shipping] but for my purposes, it was worth it. I wouldnt normally recomend paying more then $10.00 for this. Got it as a gift and Im afraid the person Im giving it to will be disappointed. Came half wrapped in a bent carton. Plus doesnt go to North immediately you have to fool with it. |
