This is convenient for frequent pitch changes, but loses the strap support feature. The sections are easier to lock than the previous design. They lock securely. This is the second pair of LEKI poles I have purchased. I am very happy with the durability, adjustability, light weight & utility of the poles. First trekking poles I've bought On: 2007-09-10And hopefully the last. These are fantastic. Theyre light, comfortable, easy to adjust. I have bad knees and without poles, any hike with a pack will kill me. Ill take these on any back country trip I take from now on. Well worth the cash. |
