I have owned the LEKIs for about 3 weeks and have used them on six hikes of three to eight miles over some rough ground they have performed GREAT. I would highly recommend these poles. They provide you with stability and protect you against shock. I intend to use them on a week long hike in the Quehanna Wild Area next month. Makalu Trekking Poles On: 2007-05-13These are great! They help so much with stability and really do increase your work out. After I had knee surgery I did not feel at all confident on the more difficult or steep trails. After I bought these I could go much faster and much farther than I could with out. I was also pleasantly surprised at the workout my arms got, especially that difficult area on the back of the upper arm in women. |
