On: 2007-05-12This is a simple to use tool that basically creates tiny directed amounts of flaming mettle to ignite tinder. It works if dried off and is easy to use. If the plastic handle was thinner it would be easier to handle, but it works well. If one looses the mettle spark key, one can always her or his knife. The brightly colored handle is easy to find if dropped. If you have kids, I might recommend buying the red or yellow handle to help instill a sense of danger. |
