 Sven Saw 21 By: Sven Saw Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 2 More Information An essential tool for the woods  On: 2007-12-19I have used a 21" Sven Saw for many years while backpacking, and it is my most highly prized piece of camp gear. Give me my Sven Saw and a reliable fire starter and I can make shelter and fire in the woods. If you camp, whether backpacking or car camping, get one: they are light to carry, pack away easily, and are the best thing I have found for cutting wood, period. (Side note with only possible complaint about the Sven Saw: I have not, in the many years I have used it, lost the wing nut that holds the saw together in the leaves on the ground or in the dark, which would make the saw inoperable. It might be a good idea to carry an extra one) Best camp saw On: 2007-03-01I was given a Sven 21" saw in the mid 70s. It is compact and the best fast cutting saw I have ever used. Great around the house for rough cutting trees and limbs and light weight for camping. |
