Our bodies are contaminated with poisonous chemicals released during the PVC lifecycle, such as mercury, dioxins, and phthalates, which may pose irreversible life-long health threats. When produced or burned, PVC plastic releases dioxins, a group of the most potent synthetic chemicals ever tested, which can cause cancer and harm the immune and reproductive systems." Extremely unattractive, in green or yellow On: 2008-02-02This product is great for working, or boating, or sporting, but not to wear around. It is almost blindingly ugly. Not a typical Carhartt handsome and city-friendly, garment. The last rain coat I'll ever buy  On: 2008-01-16Carhartt has hit another home run with me. This is one incredibly sturdy, heavy duty garment. It has a totally waterproof layer of rubberized membrane over a nice canvas base. The elastic cuffs are a bit snug, and the coat weighs more than the averge rain jacket, but I work outside and wont have to worry about tearing it on the smallest snag. This is a coat suitable for commercial fishermen. Ill be buying the matching bibs for sure. |
