 Fizan Snow Trek Pole By: Fizan Trekking Poles Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information One pole for all snow addictions  On: 2007-06-29I ski and telemark, and as it turns out, modern style of telemark skiing uses really short poles - shorter than alpine skiing. So even though I never use the telescoping function on traverses (which is what pole manufacturers thinks is a feature), i do use it to make the pole the right length for the particular sport. The neoprene sleeve is great for traverses, however, and is way more practical, than changing the length of the pole on the fly. Great pole, and comes with different baskets, a big one for powder, etc. I dont see why you couldnt also use this pole for trekking unless you want the spring. |
