I recommend this bag!     On: 2008-04-17

I bought this bag for my 13 year old son to go to school with. Its almost the end of the school year now and he has been using this bag for 8 months now. It has supported all the abuse that a boy this age can put a school bag through without a dent. I plan to let him use it next year too.
Good Bag     On: 2008-01-24

This bag its really good and sturdy. It evens has an Umbrella pouch in the inside.
Faulty Zipper     On: 2008-01-08

This backpack had many features, lots of room, etc. However, after 7 months of relatively light use, the stitching attaching the rearmost zipper to the backpack separated. Attempting to get it replaced, but unsuccessful to date.

This is the second one my son has owned. He is pretty tough on them, and just loves it.

super day pack     On: 2007-02-16

I bought one of these a while back to use as a day pack for hiking. I find it an absolutely great backpack. It has enough compartments for everything I need to carry as well as a ton of smaller pockets for nick knacks and smaller items.
I found I didnt need the waist belt and never used it as it doesnt do much. (Its not like your trying to get weight to your hips with a small pack like this anyways. I ended up cutting it off. It has a nice carry handle at the top built into the harness that makes it real easy to carry this pack or move it around with one hand when not wearing it.
The padding on the back is very comfortable, I havent overloaded this pack yet, but with about 15-20 pounds, its very easy to wear.
It has straps for a skateboard/snowboard, and while Ive never used it for those, They make nice straps to lash things on if you wanted to. I also like the cell phone pocket, which I actually do use for a cell phone. I liked that so much that I zip tied my folding knife pocket exactly opposite it.
One downfall for me was the 2 side pockets. Usually used for water bottles . They are quite small. my nagaline 32 oz bottles wont fit in there, though no problem with smaller sizes. The pack is able to be used as a camel back, though I didnt see a bladder specifically made for it.

So in the end, I just bought another one of these for a friends birthday and Im really impressed with it. I would definatly recomend this pack.

Finally a back pack that wont fall aprt the first month of use. Large storage area fits books, lunch pack, shoes and all the extra "stuff" my 8 year old has to have with him
