I just took it on a two week hiking/camping vacation to the Rocky Mountains. The fit was great and the hydration system worked flawless. I agree with the previous review - the mouthpiece flops around a bit, but I tucked it under the chest strap and problem solved. The side pockets worked great for sunscreen and snacks. Id definitely recommend this pack. My Helena CamelBak On: 2007-08-11I love this! It is so nice to be able to carry little items (ie. camera or sunscreen or sunglasses) along with my water. I think it is perfect for hiking, biking, camping, and riding my quad at the coast. great pack On: 2007-05-15I love this bag - it is roomy enough to carry all the essentials for a day hike, but the size is well-proportioned to my frame (Im 55"). The different pockets help organize items you want to keep handy, and it has 2 side pockets for additional water bottles. Camelbak makes great hydration bladders - works like it should. The straps make sense for adjusting size and fit of pack, and wears comfortably. And the colors are cute and hide dirt well. Only complaint is that it does not have a velcro hold on the chest strap for the nozzle, so flops around when setting down pack, getting something out, etc. and gets dirty. |
