Not sure if theres an alternative to this case, but I bought this one because it was made by Coleman, and I trust their products from past experience. I have two complaints- the material its constructed from is a heavy vinyl, when a thinner, lighterweight canvas or nylon material would have been better suited. Also, the fit was so tight around the stove that it took a couple of minutes just to get the stove inside and zipped up. This reason alone nearly negates the convenience of having a carrying case altogether.
