I use the Octane 14 everyday as a school backpack as well as a trail running pack. I also bike with this versatile item and it serves its purpose great. Very comfortable as well as stylish. 5 Stars

My job requires me to spend long 10 hour days hiking through the desert. I love the features this pack has to offer! It has the ability to zip down to a small pack containing nothing but my lunch, suncreen, and water. As teh day, progresses I have the ability to take off layers, collect artifacts and other treasures and expand in many different spaces. The pack is incredibly light weight. It has special pockets around the waist band so I can easily grab a snack on the go or I always choose to keep a tube of chapstick in a container as well. Also has a key hook inside so you never have to worry about losing those! The one complaint that I have is that there is no dust guard over the camelbak mouthpiece and those are hard to find in stores.
