Incredible light. Much better than most of the crap that comes from Gerber, etc. High Technology, Bright, Compact Flashlight ! On: 2007-02-25Throw away your Edison bulb flashlights... this LED flashlight is far superior. The model 7840 uses Coasts best technology, the PTT circuit, prism reflector and single 1.25 watt LED bulb. The single bulb and prism reflector provide a very UNIFORM and very pure WHITE light (no blue tint, like in cheaper models). The PTT circuit allows the light to operate from only one cell (common AA) and provides more constant light output as the battery wears down. The regulation of light output is great, but this results in shorter run time. (It cant break the laws of Physics!)
