![]() C3 Carbon Duo Lock Compact Trekking Poles (Pair) By: Komperdell Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information Best Hiking/Trekking Poles I've Used Light, compact and the shock spring mechanism is genious. Takes a few tries to get used to it but then its a snap to lock or unlock in two seconds. The grips are really fantastic as well. Just the right thickness and tackiness if you know what I mean. Some grips are too sticky, too large, too small for the hand and they generate a sort of fatigue on a long hike. My wife and I both have a set of these. No complaints. We leave them in the car so we wont forget them. To me, Komperdell feels like the Mercedes of Trekking poles. I think Backpacker magazine might have said that in a review a few years back and I agree. Were using these primarily for warm weather hiking in New Hampshire - White Mountains hiking - and just love them. Were planning on taking them to the Berner Oberland next year and I cant wait. I think theyll travel fine in my bag since they collapse very well. I highly recommend these. Best Hiking/Trekking Poles I've Used Light, compact and the shock spring mechanism is genious.
