 Open Country Aluminum Coverd Kettle- 10 Quart By: Open Country Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Arrived Dented but OK  On: 2009-04-03Small cookpot made in Wisconsin with a nonstick interior surface (which will need to be preconditioned with oil according to the instructions). Unfortunately, the pot arrived with a small dent on the side near the bottom. There is NO packing for this series of 4-, 2- and 1-quart pots, and a simple wrap of a ribbon of plastic keeps the lid on for shipping. I guess this is to save cost, but in my case, resulted in a dent. However, for the price, its not worth the hassle or time to return the item - and since this pot will certainly acquire its own personalized series of dents in the future, I wont whine about the shipped condition. Besides, I took the top of a broom handle and smoothed out the dent (the pot isnt made out of thick aluminum). I give this product four stars because it isnt packed in bubble wrap. Good value On: 2008-09-28Cant beat the price. Perfect size for one person backpacker pot. Only complaint is the handle. Its very very stiff to move up and down. If I leave it up while cooking it prevents me from removing the lid (plus it gets hot). If I have it down while cooking, i have nothing to grab and cant raise it without grabbing the pot itself. I will try to loosen the hinge a bit before my next trip. Aluminum Covered Kettle  On: 2008-05-30We really enjoyed this kettle. We kept it over our fire most of our camping trip, to keep warm water at hand and also used over our camping stove. Love the lid, keeps contents warm and clean but it is a little tricky to remove with the d ring that is provided. We just used a fork to lift it up and then get a hold of the d ring. Would definitely recoment to anyone who is looking for a good size kettle for camping.
