 Petzl Duo Led 14 ACCU Headlamp By: Petzl Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information Used for a caving trip.  On: 2007-10-06I am not a caver (aspiring, if you will) but used this headlamp to crawl around tight spaces in pitch black-ness for about 3 hours. The halogen lamp lasts 5 hours but I have not used it long enough for it to go into the supposed emergency LED mode. The 14 LED lamps produce a bright, wide beam. The halogen lamp also has a nice zoom feature. The headlamp has a handy locking device, which is only activated in off position - for traveling/storage purposes so you dont accidentaly turn it on. It is waterproof down to 16 feet. Great high powered headlamp, may be a little too heavy for general use. |
