More Information

Dual purpose liner     On: 2008-07-11

I used this liner on a recent camping trip from the Arizona desert right up to Glacier National Park and found it excellent at both extremes. In the heat it was fine on its own. In the mountains it provided the extra warmth inside my mummy sleeping bag - we awoke to heavy frost on our tent several mornings. It has a full length zip and a stuff sack. I used it inside out so that the zip was on the same side as my sleeping bag zip.
Ok, but...     On: 2008-07-08

Too heavy for backpacking. Hard to use inside a pack. We use it stand alone as a summer sleep bag over a deep padding like your existing backpack.
Excellent sleeping bag liner!     On: 2008-02-13

The Slumberwick liner is an excellent value and can be used as a liner in a sleeping bag to keep it clean, add extra warmth and keep you dry if you sweat at night. It could also be used by itself in warm climates. It packs small, has a full length zip and is much less expensive that many of the other bag liners available. I spent quite a bit of time researching liners before purchasing this one and I am very satisfied with the product - I will buy it again as I add to our family gear.
Slumberjack fleece mummy bag insert     On: 2007-12-25

this was a good product. Great protection against winter cold. Held up wonderfully in a zero degree bag in single digit temperatures.
Great Addition to your bag     On: 2007-12-22

This added a good 10 - 15 degrees to my 25 degree bag. Kept me warm on a cold snowy night in an Adirondack. Could be softer but was the only choice for a mummy bag. Great around the house and extremely light.
