I purchased this item because I was tired of getting wet on the job everyday after washing equipment, especially when the weather changes. Cold weather and wet clothes just dont mix. This product keeps you dry and it has buttons located in the wrist and ankle area for those of us that are vertically challenged. Matter of fact, I purchased 2 addtional sets, one for myself and my supervisor.... I highly recommend this product. Nice For The Price On: 2008-10-15Columbia has earned a good name in moderately priced sportswear and I relied on that with this purchase. I volunteer with the US Forestry Service and other Service Organizations. This involves frequent outdoor activity including operation of 4-wheelers and UTVs. My rainsuit is well made, durable, properly sized, and addresses my need. I love its compactness, goes into even an already full daypack, and it really keeps me dry. Tough enough to do some light bushwhacking on hiking trails, and comfortable enough to wear about town. It has those nifty pockets that can get to your inside pants pockets. Lots of vents, welded seems, lots of pockets. The hood is great, I do have a rain hat as well. I bought this rainsuit because I walk to work and I didnt want to be stopped by the rain in spring and fall. Im very pleased with it, somedays I get a little hot, but it isnt too bad. The rain suit was great like the West Virginia Football game as they destroyed the Rutgers football team. The rain suit kept me bone dry and for colder weather make sure you wear layers for your warmth comfort. Also the rain suit served as a wind protector. The headgear kept my head dry. Dry and warm On: 2007-09-05I got this when it went on sale for $10 It was an absolute steal. Its heavy duty and does what its intended to do which is namely, Keep You Dry in a rainstorm or such-like. The hubby made use it this summer during a deluge when our rain gutters got clogged. He was pretty impressed at how dry he was after basically standing under a waterfall for 10 mins. This suit fits well but does not seem to be as well made as my other/older Columbia rain suit. None the less, I like it and would buy it again because of the price. I guess you get what you pay for. Being that we live in New York the winter weather on a fishing boat can be rough! My husband loves this suit. He says its light-weight and completely waterproof even when its raining side-ways! This is the rain gear you keep in your pickup truck for when you least expect. It will keep you perfectly dry.
