My only complaint is that with almost every Buck knife Ive ever owned they tend to have really brittle blades. If you pry or twist too much on this blade you will chip it. The extra hard steel (which is what makes them brittle) also makes the hard to sharpen. The only real effective tool Ive found for sharpening a Buck knife is a diamond stone. They are pretty sharp out of the box and as long as you dont chip the blade they hold an edge better than many other knifes. |
