On: 2008-01-07I researched hydration packs obsessively before going to Egypt (it being the desert and all). This was absolutely the perfect product for the trip. I often think "made for women" products are silly, but in this case, its true -- my husbands Camelbak is painful for me to carry, and this one felt weightless. It is perfect for small people (I am 52"); it holds plenty of water, even for the desert; and it has more storage than youd think. It could possibly have used more space for carrying spare clothes; but it easily held my guide book, balance bars, hat, sunglasses, keys, chapstick, wallet, etc. My only criticism is that Camelbak needs to make covers for the suction part for sanitation. Otherwise, I think the Magic is about the greatest thing to happen to adventure traveling. |
