I have always shied away from Mountain Hardwear because all of its products seemed way too expensive, but after extensive research and a huge sale at REI, I caved in and bought this incredible tent.
I was tent shopping because my last tent had a horrendous leaking problem that couldnt be fixed so weight, durabilty and waterproofing were top three on my "must have" list. This tent weighs around 4 pounds packed and with a total coverage rain fly, it practically repels water.
This tent has to be one of the best purchases I have contributed to my backpacking cache. It has upheld everything MH said it would and then some for the past year and counting. It deserves these 5 stars, and getting it for 10% off the sale price because of a tear in the stuff sack was an even bigger bonus. On: 2007-11-27
