More Information

Very Handy     On: 2008-06-11

They are very helpful and add exceptional functionality to my poles, however, I would say that it was a bit confusing as to where to put them at first. I tried my ears, nose and both big toes, but after extensive research on the internet, I learned that they were intended to go on the poles. Still, I wasnt sure where and again had to research the location after trying to wrestle them on over the hand grips.
I really think a DVD manual with video directions would be helpful
Older Pole.     On: 2008-02-01

I have an older pole that had a flat rubber tip that came with it. This new one works much better and holds on payment as well as hard ground. I will order more just in case they change the design.
Replacement treking pole tips     On: 2007-12-02

These replacement tips fit both of our poles just fine. They fit like they were made for them.
necessary but pricy     On: 2007-06-09

You really need this for walking on pavements. They fit nicely, but are an extra cost option, and a very pricy one when you consider you are getting two fairly small pieces of molded rubber for $10. Other makes of trekking poles that cost much less than Leki include tips in their price.
Makes an urban trek more fun     On: 2007-04-26

Several years ago I got a couple of trekking poles and extended my field life as an archaeologist. I wanted the same convenience of using them on concrete sidewalks and asphalt trails. These rubber walking tips, curved as them are rather than flat, are exactly what I wanted. They provide some shock absorption as well. Senior citizens who have not tried using trekking poles when they take their daily walks really should try them. They just help balance and make walking easier. I can really power walk with these tips on my poles.
